Human Services Psychology – Applied Behavior Analysis

Lozy_Picture-1

I am a graduate student in the Human Services Psychology program: Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Master’s track. Currently, I am conducting my practicum experience as a Research Assistant under the supervision of Dr. Louis Hagopian at the Kennedy Krieger Institute (KKI), but have previously held clinical positions within the institute as well. I became interested in psychology at a young age, but specifically ABA in my early undergraduate career in which I had the opportunity to work with doctoral level students in an ABA lab. This experience provided me with the opportunity to explore the impact of the field within a variety of contexts and fueled my passion to further my education.

At UMBC and KKI, my clinical and research experience and education have flourished with the aid of my professors and supervisor as mentors. They have helped me build a foundation for success as a future behavior analyst and continue to broaden my horizons both as a scientist and as an individual. Once I complete the Master’s program, I plan to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and subsequently further my education in a Behavior Analysis Ph.D. program.
