- Develop, administer, and analyze biannual department Student Learning Outcomes Assessments to inform undergraduate program changes and improve student learning experiences
- Coordinate open houses and orientations for all new majors to provide information and resources about the department each semester
- Create and maintain a report of real-time demographic information of Psychology undergraduate students to inform and support department missions
- Attend and present information regarding demographics and SLOA data to the Undergraduate Program Committee
- Take meeting minutes at the UPC meetings
- Participate as a member of the Undergraduate DISJ group
- Work with other faculty/staff to analyze and develop changes to major requirements
- Plan and organize a yearly Undergraduate Award Ceremony for Psychology students
- Advise a caseload of about 50 students each semester on degree and major requirements
- Assist in training and answering questions from faculty advisors on effective advising practices for undergraduate students
- Coordinate advising assignments for over 1000 undergraduate Psychology students and 30 faculty
- Utilize Peoplesoft to provide student and course administration support (e.g. pulling rosters, course permissions)
- Present an overview of the Psychology major and resources to students in a course required of all majors
- Design, coordinate and carryout resource dissemination to build undergraduate community
- Provide resources for students on department, career, research, graduate school and other related academic and professional topics
- Serve as the staff advisor for the newly created Psychology Council of Majors
- Assist the Undergraduate Program Director/Undergraduate Program Committee with programmatic and curricular needs
- Contribute to the administrative needs of the department as required as a member of the administrative support staff team
